Michael’s Experience
Coyne’s impact in capital markets is particularly notable from his tenure as Head of Capital Markets at Benjamin Securities, Inc., where he built and scaled the firm’s division from inception. Under his leadership, the platform expanded into trading, advisory, underwriting, and exchange listings, supporting more than 200 companies in accessing U.S. public markets. His strategic execution drove exponential revenue growth and established the firm as a competitive presence in the space. Prior to this, as Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Ingalls & Snyder, he developed and led a comprehensive capital markets platform, becoming the firm’s top revenue producer while building syndicate and underwriting capabilities across equity and fixed income markets.
Earlier in his career at Capital Integration Systems (CAIS), Coyne rapidly advanced from an entry-level role to Head of Equity Syndicate, demonstrating both technical expertise and leadership acumen. He played a key role in expanding the firm’s equity placement capabilities, increasing trade flow significantly and executing complex transactions, including international pre-IPO placements.
